Miss CC Pendant
In response to a reader’s comments, here is my CC pendant. It’s the most reasonable piece of CJ from Chanel thus far! Haven’t gotten around to wearing it though.
It comes in three colours - gold, silver and pewter.
Meanwhile, orchard is decked out with the Christmas decorations.
Hurry hurry, let it be Christmas!
The Classic Updates.
Many blog entries ago, I talked about my classic earrings.
Some readers asked me as to how they could go about purchasing the big CC studded with swarovski. Well, truth is, Chanel stopped reproducing it shortly after I purchased mine and came up with this instead.
It’s shinier all round to enhance the crystal look.
I don’t know which I prefer. It depends on what one dons. The former adds a nice touch and class to a pretty outfit. But the latter glams up an otherwise plain outfit.
Happy weekend!
Rock Chick Chanel CJ
You ladies are in for a treat!
I had originally wanted to blog more about my trip to DC. But realise to my horror that I left my external hard disk at work!
So here I go with Chanel CJ indulgence.
No prizes for guessing that I do like Betty the Boop.
I purchased this pair of earrings after salivating at my sister’s black version.
This was purchased in 2008. It can be worn two ways.
*Flip*!
Happy Weekend!
And a shout out to Yuan Shan: “Happy Birthday Girl!”
Shangai Jade
One of my prized Chanel CJ is the jade earrings from the Shanghai collection.
I finally took it out on a day trip over the weekend.
Yes that it Yoshi. He sits on my bed every night. Without his enormous legs, my bed feels extremely empty.
I paired it up with a military inspired peach tunic - which I purchased from Lemon Chiffon - coupled with tights and booties from Charles & Keith. I ought to snap a picture of those booties. They rock.
Here are some other pieces that I purchased from Lemon Chiffon.
I really love this laced frock.
It’s pastel pink for me!
But my favourite piece… has got to be this t-shirt…
It reminds me of American Eagle - a brand that I loved to visit when I was in America.
As you can tell, I’m inspired by the au neutral palette triggered by Phoebe Philo.
It has been the colour that I’ve been working with. But once in a while, I head back to my comfy IJ girl blue and black.
Happy trick & treating!
Hello Cruise 2011
Pop by MBS yesterday to view a handbag.
Count myself lucky. Cruise collection 2011 accessories just arrived yesterday!
The big Chanel box greets the little one. Welcome to the club!
You will be loved.
Swarovski crystal studded classic CC earrings in pale gold.
Chanel Ribbon Necklace
I hate to admit this, my heart does not wander far from Chanel accessories.
So bite me.
Out goes the books, in comes a shopping session at Chanel.
Late last year, I was pondering for a super long time whether I should get the clover necklace. A season later, the clover craze was made famous by SJP…
Needless to say. The day the clover necklace was re-launched (I stepped into the shop a day earlier! And the SA said they have no idea if it was coming back! BOOO!), it was sold out.
I have since lost interest in the clover necklace.
I have, however, developed a love for its counterpart. The ribbon necklace.
It’s pretty ain’t it?
BLING! I like. Keke…
Happy happy weekend!
Chanel Love Day 8
The last of our Chanel totes is this Grey Reissue.
I blogged about this in a previous post but never got around to write about it.
This lady comes in matte grey, size 2.7. Being petite, I can’t carry off a black 2.7. Instead, 2.7 in grey looks more proportionate on my frame.
Love the quilt… Don’t ya?
As usual this lady bears a reissue lock. It comes in silver hardware.
It is definitely more spacious than my 2.55 in size 2.6.
Have a happy mid week! =)
David and Yan’s Wedding
I admit… I haven’t been hardworking to blog new stuff of late. My brain has been pretty occupied with manipulating matrices, visualising angles, and counting numbers.
Pretty nerdy stuff.
But the end is near, and celebratory mood is about to kick it. Till the next round of madness that is.
So to begin that craze, here are some photos that I took with my friends during a church wedding a month ago.
It was a day that felt more like church friends reunion than a church wedding.
Pardon the low quality photos, taken by my Iphone as I didn’t want to squeeze the camera into my sister’s precious Chanel.
Eileen and her baby! Eileen go way back with my sister. She is a great sister and leader who inspires.
Behold the pretty bridesmaid, Chai Ling. Chai and I go way back where we sqaubble with our youth members over the most nonsensical stuff. She’s definitely one of the prettiest counsellor there is.
You know how people often say… 女大十八变? This surely describes my best pal’s younger sister, Adeline.
The wedding took 2 hours, and by the time the dinner had ended, I was pretty much low on energy… A quick re-route to Cold Creamery @ HV fixed my need for sugar.
What I wore… Topshop tank with Bysi skirt and burgundy Chanel. Seen here with my own East-West Chanel instead.
Lol what a difference lighting makes for photo snapping on the Iphone.
Happy weekend everyone!
Grey Chanel Reissue
I took my sister’s grey Chanel reissue out on a shopping trip.
What I wore: Ferragamo hairband in black, sheer top by mink pink, ribbon pearl ring, blue scarf by promod, zara tights and grey Chanel reissue.
Jelly Flats
Forgive me, it is yet another blog about my shoe purchase!!!
I’m really excited about this find. I truly am.
I’ve fallen in love with my sister’s Chanel jewelled jelly flats that she bought in 2008. (SHHHH. Don’t tell her if not she’ll boast to me again!) Despite the exorbitant price, I think it’s a fantastic purchase. This season Chanel came up with a similar jelly flats, but it wasn’t too fantastic. To my dismay, it looks kinda fake.
This is my sister’s Chanel jewelled jelly flats that I’ve since taken pride in wearing it frequently.
And this is Chanel’s jelly flats 2010.
And this is my recent purchase from Tod’s …
I like I like! It was the last pair in my size. =) And it is actually affordable! It ain’t priced at $500 bucks. Thank God!
I know what some of you may be thinking… Who in the sane mind buys jelly flats!!!! Afterall, they are just made up of plastic.
Well, in tropical Singapore where it frequently rains at the drop of a hat, I’ll say that owing a pair of jelly flats is practical. And who can resist such pretty jelly flats!!!
This ends my quest for jelly sandals. =D Happy happy!
