Chanel Earrings and Ring
I told myself I was going to stay at home to complete my work. An online search, and a phone call later, urged me on a frenzy to Singapore’s Chanel. In an hour and a half, I dash to the store, bought my items and got back home.
I have been waiting for an ENTIRE year for this little baby. I spotted it on a forum a year ago, and fell in love with it. I called boutiques everywhere, and they were all sold out. A year later, Chanel re-released them for their Autumn ‘09 collection. Since when do they do that?
I abide by the “if it was meant to be” policy, so I won’t feel upset when I can’t lay my hands on something I really like.
So a year later, “it’s meant to be!”

I highly suspect that these Chanel earrings just arrived, but who cares! Look at this antique looking classic beauty. It’ll sure age gracefully with me.

This is it! This is the baby that I’ve been waiting for ONE year.
The pearls have swirl marks on them to replicate the natural look of a pearl. I chose a pair with the most symmetrical lines out of the few I can choose from. (PS: so if you have been looking for this pair of Chanel earrings like me, now it’s the time. Singapore outlet still carries a few pairs).
I love the antique look of the earrings. And, because of this additional crystal cap, the Chanel earrings look way much more proportional than the pearl CC with a drop of pearl.
And as I was in the store, I couldn’t help it. Blame it on my sister’s psycho-ing skills. But, I got this ring as well. It’s one of the nicest Chanel rings ever. I’ve a soft spot for anything glittery. I like bold chunky rings as well. I was really lucky as I managed to secure the last new piece.

Meanwhile, I shall just upload a picture of my crystal CC logo earrings. Apparently, the house of Chanel has decided to discontinue this pair of earrings. I have no idea why did they do it, because a year ago when my sister bought this for me, they said it was a permanent collection. Then again, if the LV french purse wallet had a seasonal red that was in the store for like forever, and later production for it was abruptly hauled; I’m not surprise that the house of Chanel can pull the same trick as well. So if you’re looking forward to buying them. Cross your fingers. Cross them really hard.
Although, Chanel has decided to do a mini-version of this CC logo, and this version looks dainty and good for people with small lobes or like petite accessories. My sister bought one of it. (PS: There was one more left in the store). It looks equally good.

My sister also purchased this pair of antique gold earrings from Chanel as well. I like! I’m so glad that my sister and I share similar taste. I’m so going to raid her accessories bin. 
Nonetheless, we made it out with a couple of earrings and a ring.
We made one SA very happy.
Hi Pink, the small interlocking cc earring is $360. It is from the classic collection. As for the pricing of the necklace and earrings, it really depends on how Chanel wants to price them. I once saw the same pair of earring - one with pearl, another without - the one with the pearl was cheaper than the one without! So it depends on luck. =)
Which $250 earrings are you referring to?
U mentioned before that the cheapest chanel earring in boutique is $250. My fren just bot one $250 n she said it is the same as mine. but mine is the $360 one. So is there any differnce? THanks for clearing my doubts =)
Oh… there are a lot of variety to Chanel CJ’s. I have seen the $250 earrings at Chanel, but I didn’t buy them because it wasn’t my style. 1) If they were the same design the reason behind the price difference could be that they were from different season. If the design has been repeated, the price could have increased - although $110 increase is rare. 2) It could be a similar design not entirely the same - even if it was a tweak in design, Chanel could have deemed that the $360 could be a more popular design and decide to charge them at a premium. Also, embellishment such as having swarovski crystal could increase the price drastically. 3) Truth in told, there is really no one way that we can determining how Chanel charges for their CJ. That is what I can say after being a loyal buyer of Chanel CJ. As long as you are happy with what you have purchased, that’s all that matters. =) I hope that clarifies your query!
The person told my fren hers is what american crystals or sumtin, not swarovski crystals. While mine is swarovski crystal, so possible cos of this the price is diff? we bot ard the same time n she said hers is the cc design too and it looks very shiny too. so i was abit sad that I bot the more expensive one n the shine n design is the same. Will this type of thing actually happen?
Hi Pink, this is the first time I heard about American crystals. All the SAs I’ve bought from tell me that mine are Swarovski. I did do a google search and the closest match I came up with is ‘Celestial crystals’. They are supposedly of a lower quality to Swarovski crystals. In this case, this might explain the difference in price. They are prone to chipping and do not reflect light as well as Swarovski crystals. With time they lose luster faster than Swarovski. It’ll be the first that I heard Chanel using such crystals, perhaps it’s a seasonal experiment. For as far as I know, they really do use Swarovski crystals, it’s hardier.
Hi! I just got my friend to buy me a pair if cc earrings, in mini, do you know what sizes are there exactly? The one in your pics are they small? Or mini? Cause I got mine from London for 260sgd. But they are sooooo tiny! So Im so confused with the sizes of these earrings now.

You’re most welcome. It really depends on the purpose of the bag; although I would personally vote for classic flap any day. Some people find that the GST is a little hard to carry as the straps keep falling. Even though both bags have double straps, the Classic Flap’s chains are thinner and holds better on the shoulders. On the flip side, Classic Flap is pretty popular in Singapore - hence, there may be a reduction in exclusivity. The up side is, there is a higher resale value for the Classic Flap. =)
The mini CC is really tiny. It may not look as good on a person with a “free earlobe” opposed to person with an “attached earlobe”. The smaller CC that you see here is the tiny version - which is being sold as a classic at the moment. You might want to consider getting the current classic as it is reasonably priced for Chanel CJs and it is a pretty good size as well. =)
How much is the classic flap in medium size now? I oso prefer the classic flap more than GST hehe anyway I just bot the mini CC. The SA at BKK airport oni shows me the mini cc. I like the $250 tat u bot, seems much nicer! so sadz!
Well, the $250 that I bought is from the classic collection, so you can always get a pair whenever. =) The the classic flap in medium is currently $5170.

Classic single flap in jumbo is $5350. Classic double flap - which is what most jumbos come in now - is $5700. 2.55 in jumbo is $6230. All in SGD. From experience, Chanel usually raise their price once a year? Twice in Europe. My take on Chanel is, if you like the bag very much, just buy it. You never know when they will increase the price. Chanel’s price inflation can be pretty scary.

Hello Candice. The flower on the paper bag is free; but the one I got was from Paris. Singapore is quite stingy with the flower. I’ve yet to see them stick one on my paper bag. The last earrings was purchased for about $350. But that’s 2 years back now, so it’s no longer available in stores.

Hello Joolisa, my sister bought the smaller CCs for SGD360. The price might have changed, coz the bigger version retails for $250? But then again, Chanel’s pricing of CCs are a little strange. I did see the new shipment last Friday, but they were sold out when I visited the store on Sunday. I highly recommend getting the bigger version.

Somewhen last week I realised that some of the crystals dropped off. Any idea if there’s any replacement available and is it normal for the crystals to drop off?

Hello ade. You’re not alone. I have had crystals missing from my rings and earrings.
Don’t fret!!!! The crystals can be replaced. You just need to head to any of the Chanel outlet in Sg (I do suggest the one at MBS for friendlier services). Bring along your receipt. If your earrings were purchased within the year, the replacement fee would be waived. If not it’ll cost less than $10 to replace. The SA did tell me that it’s about $3.

The repairs take about a month. Sometimes even longer, depending on whether they have the parts locally. I once had my ring sent to Paris and it took them 6 months.
It was around SGD500.

Hi Elvin, you should buy them from the Chanel boutiques in Singapore. There is one outlet at MBS and another at Ngee Ann City. As stock is limited, they may not carry the design that you want and you may have to wait a few more weeks before the next shipment comes in. Hope that helps!
Hi Beebs, the smaller ones are slightly smaller than one cm but not 0.5cm. They are really tiny and fit people with no ear lobes. If you have ear lobes, you should buy the bigger versions as they look better and more proportionate. The price is not tagged to the size of the earrings. It’s just up to the house of Chanel to decide. =)
Hi, sometimes it depends on seasons. I tend to check them out time to time and asks when the next shipment will arrive. =) I prefer to go to MBS where they have more time and patience to deal with the crowd.

Hi Ivy, Chanel do not have polishing services. What I recommend is wrapping your bracelet in apparel tissue and placed in a sealed plastic zipped bag when you are not wearing it. This helps to extend the life span of the bracelet. =)

You can get them from the boutiques at either Ngee Ann City or at Marina Bay Sands. They retail from SGD250 and up.

Hi Alice, you can bring it to the boutiques and they will help you to fix it. They do not charge for repairs for items that are less than 1 years old, but I have brought earrings that I’ve purchased for more than 1 year and they do not charge me for repairs.
I lost the stamp and couldnt find it and I went to the shop and they say they can’t repair it.
Anyway do you know whats the difference btw the $250 earrings compare to the $360 one you bot?
