Transformers: The Revenge of the Fallen

transformers 2Let me begin by sounding like a total tom-boy wuss. Transformers rock!

I never knew that robots can be so hot. Alright I admit, I was like one of the boys, because I found Miss Fox hot too. She has a mega-watt smile that has the same ability to tame teenage boys, as Prime has the power to kill Fallen. Even the muscle men in the show can’t beat her. Maybe only Miss-robot-in-disguise coyness can rival Foxy.

So, I sat in the cinema for 2.5 hours without running to the washroom at all. With the on-going fights, bombs, extra digital effects, and constant eye candy, the show kept me glued to my seat. My inner heart was rallying on “fight, fight fight”. Trust me, I’m not exactly a violent-loving person. The electric waves that the show was emitting, was messing with my brains. Or perhaps, it was the excessive laughing at expected jokes and slap stick moments that made this show enjoyable for me. And I heart Jet Fire very much.

We have the gin-gang of Prime, Bumble-Bee, and the evil ones, fighting it out in exotic Egypt. We have the Decepticons trying to obtain the key to start a machine that will provide energy for the robots, but destroy the sun and thus, killing mankind. And of course, Ta-da! We have the Autobots protecting mankind and fighting off the Decepticons.

So cliche, but that’s what that keeps the fans in their seats.

Like all family shows, at the end of the short 2.5 hours, it was a feel good factor. The evil gets ousted and the good triumph!

I hope there’s another sequel.
