My own fifi-lapin bag

Remember my blog post on shopper’s tote bag, not too long ago? Well… I was web surfing for a bag that is friendly enough for my laptop to sleep in.

And hooray! I did manage to find one that I really love.

I got my lappy, a cute tote from LeSportSac. It features an abstract Fifi-Lapin design, in which Fifi Lapin is in the sky! The amazing part is, the bag looks exactly the same as the one which is featured in the LeSportSac catalogue! Right to where Fifi-in-a-skirt is located on the bag.

If you’re wondering, Fifi-lapin is this snazzy little bunny who is obsessed about the latest fashion. Take a look at her website! Amazing feat for a chic little bunny.

From the moment I laid my eyes on this design in the catalogue, I knew that I have hit jackpot. I had always wanted a LeSportSac bag. Not only it is light weight, it is also waterproof. But, all the designs that I had seen so far, looks either too cheesy, too old, or too boring. I’m just so lucky that this particular design was still available in stores, because it was sold out on their website!

Oh my dear lappy is so excited now, it is hopping for joy.

I have been on a hunt to acquire a new scent for almost a year and a half.

I’m pretty picky when it comes to fragrances, because it is something intimate - It speaks volume about a person’s taste and personality. Plus (as ironic as it sounds), I hate to be a wearer of a popular fragrance. Wearing the same scent as the person standing next to me, is somewhat embarrassing.

One year and a half, and possibly 100 over scent testings later, I finally found something that I like! Introducing: Live platinum by Jennifer Lopez.

This scent has been out since last autumn as a winter collection, but I have never crossed path with it, till today. Inspired by winter, it is suppose to represent the idea that “every wish in wonderland sparks a sea of stars“. How befitting for me as I adore winter.

Key scents include marzipan, plum, ruby grapefruit, christmas rose, heliotrope, orange blossom, vanilla, musk, white cedar wood and amber. When applied, there is a sharp sense of flowery fruitiness. But as it wears off, it slowly morphs into a calm scent that smells like muted flowers; frozen in ice. After a longer while, the initial hint of fruitiness is now masked over by a thin crisp wood scent that is covered in fresh snow.

This limited edition eau de perfume comes in a snow-inspired bottle; only available in 50ml, and retails at SGD $82.

I’m so happy to add this little number to my collection of perfumes. =)
