Me time.
When the weather turns gloomy, when the wind starts to howl, when the rain starts to pour, and when the air turns a chilly cold; I think about the me time I had in New York city. I miss the days when I brisked walked through New York City from Soho to 9th Street. It was so fun, exhilarating, and uplifting, just taking in all the new bustle and hustle of the city that really never sleeps.
Sometimes, I sit and ponder. Having a me time is very important. It helps to keep the body, soul, and mind, in check. During that short period of time, I reflect on the life I have led, and become awfully grateful for how I have grown over the years. Also, during the short period of me time, doing something I really like, without having to hear anyone nag at me is really good. Doing something crazy, and add a dash of fun really makes me happy.
I really do miss those days where I felt so comfortable in my own skin, being in a totally strange country, without fearing that you are not fitting in. I miss those days, when I can dress up outrageously in my own style (tights, boots, skirt, whimsical top) and still laugh it off.
Conclusion: I need more me time!
