Love notes
I’m moving house soon and to an even smaller room so I have to reduce the number of ikea paper boxes that I have. I successfully chucked away 2. But whilst chucking away my boxes, I found an entire stash of letters.
Letters from dear old friends, pen-pals (yea, it was so in), beaus & seniors. The notes of love marked the days where postcards were happening, the NY way of folding papers, expensive japanese papers were the thing to use or when even foolscap paper would suffice.
I was really tempted to read letter by letter to find out secrets that I shared with my friends, but the thought on scraping through the overflowing 2 boxes full of letters made me place the antiques back to where they belong.
I share leave the reminenscence to when I’m a feeble 75 when I have pretty much nothing left to do.
Darling bing, how can I lose ANY of them! They are far too precious to lose!!! Anyway, I’m sorry I’m trying to find a suitable template to switch to but you know I’m a beginner at this whole webby game. =D
This new blog is strangely disconcerting to navigate.. o_O
BUT, I HAVE ‘EM LETTERS AT THE BACK OF MY WARDROBE TOO!
Hopefully the dark and lack of sunlight will keep them good and crispy when I take them out to read fifty years down the road.
Did you keep the 101 thousand postcards we exchanged?
