Love notes
I’m moving house soon and to an even smaller room so I have to reduce the number of ikea paper boxes that I have. I successfully chucked away 2. But whilst chucking away my boxes, I found an entire stash of letters.
Letters from dear old friends, pen-pals (yea, it was so in), beaus & seniors. The notes of love marked the days where postcards were happening, the NY way of folding papers, expensive japanese papers were the thing to use or when even foolscap paper would suffice.
I was really tempted to read letter by letter to find out secrets that I shared with my friends, but the thought on scraping through the overflowing 2 boxes full of letters made me place the antiques back to where they belong.
I share leave the reminenscence to when I’m a feeble 75 when I have pretty much nothing left to do.
Oh my babies - I.Y.
I’m just too excited over my purchases today. And this joy is hard to contain. Therefore, please swoon with me as I showcase to you my heelies.
First - my beige wedges. I have been looking high and low for a nude looking pair of heels. I do not drool over wedges because they make my legs look short. But, for some reason, this pair as an umph factor. Delicious! I snap this pair of wedges & walked around the store with it. It must be my lucky day for it was the last pair!
Next up, coming from their luxury line - pink peep toes heelies! Plain to look at. But it has a certain subtle factor to it that I really like. I really must be out of my mind. Or my feet must be out of their minds. Given that the heels are towering 3 inches and above.
Anyway, the luxury line from C&K is pretty up and coming in my opinion. In a wild guess, I feel like they are trying to rival Aldo or something.
As long as they keep they designs down to earth and avoid being too stiletoe-like I’ll still be their fan.
My 3rd pair - grey ribbon ferragamo wannabe. My sister didn’t like this pair of shoes because it was too flat in the front. But I bought it anyway, because, I can’t find my grey flats at home. And my in colour is grey.
Alright, breathe please. My last pair - pink towering heeeeeeelies! I think this is so classy. I had my initial doubts because it is really tall. But, the versatility and comfort (amazing) won me over.
Don’t ask me why, but I think I’m in my nude-neutral-phase. Or I’ve grown up and out grown my auntie-loud-bashful shoe ways. Anyway, I’m loving all of the shoes. =)
Muji Portable Eye Lash Curler
I love Muji for its sleek transparent designs. So zen.
I also love Muji for always tapping onto innovative ideas. Simple but exquisite. And when you see the product, you always wonder, wow why didn’t I think of it first.
I am totally in love with this product. A portable eye lash curler. Gone are the days when I have to bring a bigger pouch simply because my eye lash curler is too huge. This fits so snugly. The best part about it? It cost only SGD5.90. Go figure!
